  • We're based in East Auckland and that's where most of our work is — Howick, Pakuranga, Botany, Beachlands, Clevedon, and everywhere in between. We also take on projects across wider Auckland, so if you're outside East Auckland it's still worth getting in touch.

  • It depends on the work. Structural changes, new rooms, bathroom additions, and most kitchen renovations will need consent. Cosmetic work generally doesn't. We'll let you know upfront what's required for your project and handle the consent process for you — it's part of what we do.

  • A Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) is registered with the government and legally accountable for their work. For most residential building work in NZ, you need an LBP involved. Rhys and the team are all LBP-registered, so your project is covered and your investment is protected.

  • Honestly, it depends on scope. A kitchen renovation typically runs 4–8 weeks. A full home renovation is usually 3–6 months. A new build from consent to handover is generally 9–14 months. We give you a realistic timeline at the start — not an optimistic one we can't hit.

  • We handle it. That includes subcontractors, suppliers, consents, and keeping you updated throughout. You don't need to be on site every day managing trades — that's our job.

  • It varies a lot depending on scope, materials, and what's already there to work with. A bathroom renovation might start around $25,000–$40,000. A full kitchen is typically $30,000–$60,000+. A full home renovation or extension can run from $150,000 upward. We give you a detailed quote after an initial assessment — no vague ballparks.

  • Yes, recladding leaky homes is one of our specialties. We work with Finesse Residential and have experience navigating the consent and remediation process. It's a stressful situation — we'll give you straight answers on what's involved and what it'll cost.

  • We offer in-house design services, so you don't need to come to us with plans already drawn up. If you already have an architect or designer you're working with, we're happy to work alongside them too.
